CLEVELAND — Cleveland wide receiver Rashard Higgins will not play in the Browns final game of the season against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Higgins is a healthy scratch from the game.

He has only been targeted a hand full of times this year, with four receptions and one touchdown this season.

Although Higgins developed an impressive chemistry with quarterback Baker Mayfield last season, it is unknown why he had barely any playing time this year.

Higgins becomes an unrestricted free agent after this season, which means he may have put on his Browns uniform for the last time.

Other players that will be inactive for the Bengals game include wide receiver Taywan Taylor, safety J.T. Hassell, defensive end Robert McCray, tackle Kendall Lamm guard Colby Gossett, and tight end Pharoah Brown.

This is the first game in two weeks that tight end David Njoku will be active.
