CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns have activated cornerbacks Denzel Ward and Kevin Johnson from the Reserve/COVID-19 list, according to the team.

Ward was placed on the list on Dec. 31 and was eligible to return last week, but wasn’t ready, according to the Associated Press.
The Browns missed Ward badly. He’s usually assigned to the opponent's top receiver and without him, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger shredded Cleveland’s secondary, passing for 501 yards but throwing four interceptions.
