CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns will have the 26th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, which is set for April 29-May 1 in downtown Cleveland.
This is the latest first-round selection Cleveland will carry into the offseason since 1995, when it also had the 26th slot. The Browns were among the four playoff teams whose season came to an end this weekend.
The Browns have nine selections in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Who will the Browns take at No. 26? It's not too early to speculate.
- Pro Football Focus forecasts Notre Dame linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. During his time with Notre Dame, Owusu-Koramoah served as the rover in the Fighting Irish defense. He allowed only five first downs across 200 slot coverage snaps with an interception.
- CBS Sports predicts Azeez Ojulari, a speedy linebacker from Georgia, to take the No. 26 spot. He projects as an edge rusher.
- NBC Sports has defensive lineman Jaelan Phillips of the Miami Hurricanes as another contender. The former top prospect returned to football after medically retiring while at UCLA and had a great season for Miami with 8 sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss in 10 games.
