CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns have placed OL Chris Hubbard on the injured reserved list after he sustained a knee injury during Sunday night’s game against the New York Giants.
Hubbard sustained the injury in the first quarter and was able to walk off the field and into the locker rooms for further evaluation. He was ruled out for the remainder of the game just before halftime.
On Monday, head coach Kevin Stefanski said that Hubbard would miss “significant time” with a knee injury.
Hubbard was filling in at right guard when he was injured, taking over for Wyatt Teller who is dealing with an ankle injury.
The team has also placed safety Elijah Benton on the practice squad/COVID-19 list. This reserve list was created for any player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contacts with an infected person or persons.
