Cleveland Browns' Sashi Brown and Cleveland Metropolitan School District officials gathered at John F. Kennedy High School's Roye Kidd Stadium to celebrate the renovations to the field courtesy of the team.

The field is one of five that team owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam pledged to renovate in the school district. Three other fields have been completed, and two more are scheduled for renovation in 2017 to cap the two year project.

Along with Roye Kidd Stadium, the Browns are renovating James F. Rhodes Stadium, Bump Taylor Stadium, John Adams Stadium and John Marshall Stadium. Each stadium will receive 25-foot scoreboards as gifts from the team.

During the opening ceremonies, Brown was recognized as the honorary coin toss captain by Cleveland Metropolitan School District. He was accompanied by a bevy of CMSD officials and the Browns mascot Chomps.
