In an affidavit, Colleen Crowley claimed she lost hearing to her left ear after ex-boyfriend Johnny Manziel hit her.

Crowley gave her side of the story of what happened between herself and Manziel the night of Jan. 29, when the two were spending time with each other and other friends in Dallas. In the police report from that night, Crowley told police Manziel hit her several times while they were in an argument. The affidavit Crowley completed included even more details from the incident.

Crowley said she and Manziel were in a room at Hotel ZaZa when they began to argue about him recently being with a girl who had caused them problems in the past. She said Manziel threw her on the bed after she told him she was going to spend the night on the couch. She said Manziel called the act 'playful,' but it scared her.

The two eventually went to get into Crowley's car, she said in the affidavit. She explained even though she told Manziel multiple times she didn't want to go anywhere with him, he 'would not take 'no' for an answer.' Crowley stated she asked a valet for help, but the valet said 'I don't know what to do.' She said Manziel then threw her into the passenger seat of the car.

Crowley said she tried to jump out of the car and hide behind some bushes, but Manziel found her, grabbed her by the hair, and threw her back in the car. She said he hit her with his open hand on her left ear for jumping out of the car. She realized immediately that she could not hear out of that ear, and two days later she still couldn't hear out of that ear.

Crowley claimed she feared for her life and hit Manziel several times, hoping she would be able to get out of the car again. She ended up on the floor of the car and stayed there until Manziel pulled her back into the seat.

In the affidavit, Crowley said she thought Manziel was having a psychotic break or that he was on drugs. She said he told her he was going to drop her off at her apartment in Fort Worth, take her car and kill himself. This is when she began telling him she loved him and that the two could figure things out. She said Manziel began laughing and said 'Shut up or I'll kill us both," before changing his mind and saying that he would never kill Crowley, only himself.

When they got to her apartment, Crowley said Manziel refused to give her her cell phone. She tried to contact her parents on the computer, but Manziel found out. She then went into her kitchen and got a knife. She walked towards Manziel with the knife and he ran out of the apartment. She then went to a neighbor's home and asked for help.

Manziel has not been charged for the incident. There is an investigation underway which could lead to possible criminal charges.
