The Dallas Police Department announced on Friday that criminal charges are being sought against Johnny Manziel regarding a domestic violence incident between him and his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley.
Police said on Friday they received a complaint of a domestic violence assault that occurred in Dallas on Jan. 30.
A criminal investigation into the incident has been initiated and Manziel is listed as a suspect.
Detectives will investigate the case to determine what criminal charges, if any, will be filed and victim services will be offered.
Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
