Johnny Manziel has hired a new agent, ESPN reported.
The free-agent quarterback has hired Drew Rosenhaus as his agent.
This comes after Manziel’s former agent, Erik Burkhardt, parted ways with the 2014 first round draft pick in February.
Burkhardt announced he was dropping Manziel after the release of police records regarding allegations that Manziel allegedly hit his ex-girlfriend several times while in Texas.
On March 11, the Cleveland Browns waivedManziel.
The quarterback joined the Browns after he was drafted as the 22nd overall pick during the 2014 NFL Draft. He appeared in 14 games, with eight starts.
