The Dallas Police Department obtained medical records for Colleen Crowley, Johnny Manziel's ex-girlfriend, as part of a criminal investigation, according to ESPN.
ESPN reported a source familiar with the investigation told them about the police department's actions, which are linked to an incident where Manziel was accused of assaulting Crowley.
Crowley filed a complaint on Feb. 5 alleging that Manziel hit her several times on Jan. 29 and in the early morning on Jan. 30. She told police Manziel's assault ruptured her eardrum and she was unable to hear out of her left ear days after the incident occurred.
