CLEVELAND — Six-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady was bounced in the first round of the playoffs after the Patriots lost to the Titans in a wild card game, and some are questioning his future. The odds, apparently, say Brady’s next home, should he decide to leave the Patriots, is somewhere rather unexpected—right here in Cleveland.

According to Sports Betting Dime, a popular online sports betting website, the team favored to get Brady if he leaves New England is the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns are +550 favorites to land the four-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback, ahead of the Carolina Panthers (+600), Las Vegas Raiders (+600), Los Angeles Chargers (+600) and the Dallas Cowboys (+700), according to the website.

Now, it’s not clear why Brady would come to Cleveland, outside of his offensive coordinator, Josh McDaniels, being hired as the head coach, because what sense would that make? Would they bench Baker Mayfield? Would Brady sit on the bench?

It’s hard to picture a scenario in which Brady comes to the Browns, but if he decides to take his talents elsewhere, the odds-makers have him shopping our local Whole Foods for almond butter and Himalayan pink salt. However, what they like more than Cleveland, for Brady, is New England. According to Sports Betting Dime, the odds Brady stays with the Patriots are -200.

Although it seems improbable that Brady would find himself in orange and brown, we might think differently after the Browns name their head coach.
