CLEVELAND — Platform Beer Co., in collaboration with the Cleveland Browns, has launched an official craft beer named after the popular Cleveland Browns tailgating spot.
The Muni Hazy Session India Pale Ale is described as cloudy, medium body with citrusy notes of grapefruit, pineapple and lemon. It also has low bitterness, smooth hops and sessional alcohol content.
Even though tailgating at the Muni Lot has been paused this season due to the coronavirus pandemic, fans can still bring the spirit of tailgating home with Muni.
“As a lifelong fan, it is a dream to be able to collaborate with the Brownies. We all have so many great memories of The Muni Lot and hope people will get that nostalgic feeling when they enjoy our new Hazy IPA,” said Paul Benner, co-founder of Platform Beer Co. “We are excited for another Cleveland Browns season, hopefully one that gives us plenty of reason to cheer with a Muni or two.
Standard four-packs of 16 oz cans will be available beginning Sept. 7 at major retailers and bottle shops carrying Platform in Greater Cleveland area.
