The Cleveland Browns have signed QB Baker Mayfield, who was the No. 1 pick in this year's NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-fall Heisman Trophy winner from Oklahoma has signed with the team that already has playoff-tested veteran Tyrod Taylor penciled in at starter, the Browns announced Tuesday night.
With Mayfield signed, the Browns have signed eight of their nine 2018 drat picks.
The Browns have also signed: OL Austin Corbett (second round), RB Nick Chubb (second round), DL Chad Thomas (third round), WR Antonio Callaway (fourth round), LB Genard Avery (fifth round), WR Damion Ratley (sixth round) and DB Simeon Thomas (sixth round).
