CLEVELAND — Baker Mayfield is very happy that the Browns hired Freddie Kitchens.
That's according to a radio interview he gave to Mad Dog Sports Radio.
Mayfield said Kitchens was his choice to be the coach of the Cleveland Browns.
"We had something special, and I want to build on it," Mayfield said.

Kitchens led the Browns' dramatic improvement offensively when he was promoted to interim offensive coordinator midway through the 2018 season.
Mayfield said he sensed that Kitchens would get the job based on the differences he made when he took over.
The Browns went 5-3 with Kitchens calling plays.
