Is there a chance we could see the resurgent Browns and their budding star quarterback Baker Mayfield more often in prime time in 2019? A look at the teams that fall on the Browns’ schedule next year makes it look like a possibility.
These are the teams we know will play the Browns next year when the AFC North schedule rotation includes the AFC East and NFC West.

Big division games
The AFC North looks like it will be competitive next year. Unlike previous seasons, any game the Browns play has the potential to affect who wins the division championship, particularly the Steelers and Ravens games.
Sunday and Monday possibilities
It will be tempting for the NFL’s schedule makers to put Mayfield in prime time against the Los Angeles Rams and their young star quarterback Jared Goff or pit Mayfield against the New England Patriots and their aging star quarterback Tom Brady.
What about Thursday night?
Interestingly, Mayfield is scheduled to face all of the top quarterbacks drafted in 2018: the Cardinals’ Josh Rosen, the Bills’ Josh Allen and the Jets’ Sam Darnold. Any of those would be an enticing Thursday night matchup. Mayfield and Darnold faced off in a historic Thursday night Browns win earlier this season.
