CLEVELAND — Browns fans looking to own a piece of history might want to prepare their wallet for a hard hit, especially if they’re looking to own a game-worn Jim Brown jersey.

A jersey worn by the Hall of Famer running back and Cleveland legend is up for auction online.

The long sleeve Browns home jersey was worn by Brown near the end of his career, somewhere between 1961 and 1965.

Brown, who never missed a single game in his nine-year career, shattered nearly every NFL career and single-season offensive record on the books including rushing yards, total yards, rushing touchdowns, total touchdowns and total yards from scrimmage. He also led the NFL in rushing on eight separate occasions and was the first player to rush for over 100 touchdowns.

If you think the jersey would make a good addition to your man cave or she shed, be ready to offer up a pretty penny.

Bidding began at $10,000 and currently sits at $19,000.

If that’s in your budget, bidding is open until August 18 and can be done online here.
