Ohio State Buckeye defensive tackle Kayden McDonald was selected No. 36 overall by the Houston Texans during Friday night’s 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, PA.

The Georgia native spent three seasons with the Buckeyes, finishing with 38 total tackles and 47 assist tackles.
