COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball player Meechie Johnson Jr. has decided to enter the transfer portal.
Johnson, a second-year freshman, made the announcement on Twitter Tuesday.
The Cleveland native said his dream was to always play for Ohio State and he thanked his coaches.
Johnson averaged 4.4 points per game and 1.5 assists per game last season.
He appeared in 26 games for the Buckeyes.
