Students were told to shelter in place by Ohio State University Emergency Management and Fire Prevention after a home invasion occurred near campus.
According to OSU Emergency Management and Fire Prevention, a shooting occurred during a home invasion on West Northwood Avenue off campus. Police were at the scene around 1:15 p.m.
OSU EMFP described the suspect as a black man with dreads who wore glasses. He was 6 feet tall and is suspected to be armed.
