On Friday Ezekiel Elliot of the Dallas Cowboys denied allegations of domestic violence, ESPN reported.
Tiffany Thompson, a woman who claims she was Elliot's live-in girlfriend accused the Ohio State star of abusing her multiple times over the past week.
Elliot denied assaulting the woman and told police that he never lived with her either. He has not been arrested or charged with a crime and while the Dallas Cowboys are aware of the allegations, they have not officially commented.
The NFL will review the case under its personal conduct policy, a league representative told ESPN.
