CLEVELAND — After a devastating home loss in the season opener against the Titans, the Browns will take on the New York Jets on "Monday Night Football."

The Browns and the Jets went head to head for the first "Monday Night Football" game on Sept. 21, 1970, which resulted in a Browns' win. The Browns lead the series 14-12.

Browns fans will likely always remember the last time the Browns and Jets played. In that "Thursday Night Football" game, quarterback Baker Mayfield made his debut with the team in the comeback win, ending the Browns' 19-game winless streak.

Both teams are entering this matchup 0-1. The Browns are coming off a devastating 43-13 loss to the Tennessee Titans, while the Jets are coming off a 17-16 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
