Shaker Heights High School's Lyle Yost is only a sophomore and already traveling the globe. Yost is one of the best divers in the nation in his age group. In high school diving, he won the state championship this past season.
"I want to keep going with high school diving, maybe get state championships the next to year, maybe aim for the state record. I also want to get more international experience," Yost said. "The Olympics is a stretch goal but it's sort of always in the back of your mind."
"The biggest part for me is to have fun," he added. "As long as I am having fun that is when I am at my best."
Academically, he has been on honor roll every semester of high school, while challenging himself with honors and AP courses.
