Each year, the best of the best across the NFL are selected to play in the Pro Bowl Game, but with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event is going to look a little different.

The NFL and the online series Verzuz have partnered up to create the “NFL Pro Bowl Verzuz presented by Verizon” in a first-of-its kind event.

Each night at 8 p.m. from Jan. 26 through Jan. 29, Pro Bowl players will go head-to-head in career highlight battles, similar to the musical Verzuz battles that have become popular over the past several months.

While typical Verzuz battles showcase musical artists facing off to highlight their discographies, attempting to one-up their competitor with a better hit than the last one played, NFL players will showcase their most impressive career highlights on the field. The battles will be hosted by Deion Sanders, Maurice Jones-Drew and MJ Acosta-Ruiz.

Like the musical battles, the NFL Pro Bowl Verzuz will take place on @verzuztv via Instagram Live, in addition to streaming live on the NFL’s social platforms.

Joining the NFL Pro Bowl Verzuz battle are some of the league's most recognizable superstars, including Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett who goes head-to-head against Saints defensive end Cam Jordan.

Fans watching the NFL Pro Bowl Verzuz will be able to engage with the players in real-time, sounding off on the battles on the social platforms they are streaming on.

Here are the match-ups for the NFL Pro Bowl Verzuz:

Jan. 26

  • A.J. Brown vs. Justin Jefferson

Jan. 27

  • Jamal Adams vs. Budda Baker
  • Cam Jordan vs. Myles Garrett

Jan. 28

  • DeAndre Hopkins vs. Jalen Ramsey

Jan. 29

  • Deshaun Watson vs. Michael Vick

In addition to the NFL Pro Bowl Verzuz, there will also be a Madden NFL 21 competition featuring several Pro Bowl players and celebrities including Deshaun Watson, Snoop Dogg, Derrick Henry and Keyshawn Johnson, who are competing for the AFC, and Bubba Wallace, Marshawn Lynch, Kyler Murray and Jamal Adams who are competing for the NFC.

The Pro Bowl: Madden NFL 21 Edition will stream on the NFL’s YouTube, Twitter and Facebook accounts, as well as EA Madden NFL Twitch, on Sunday, Jan. 31.
