Northeast Ohio went undefeated in the Ohio High School Athletic Association football state championships when Kirtland, Chagrin Falls Kenston, Lakewood St. Edward, and Akron Archbishop Hoban all won their title games.
Hoban started the streak on Thursday evening, defeating the Massillon Tigers 42-28 to win the Division II championship.
Kirtland won its fourth Division VI championship Friday morning, beating Maria Stein Marion Local 16-7.
The Northeast Ohio win streak continued with Kenston, winning its first-ever football championship as they overwhelmed Kettering Archbishop Alter 42-6 to win the Division III title on Friday afternoon.
St. Edward finalized the sweep on Friday evening, beating Cincinnati Colerain 24-10 and taking home the Division I championship.
