Robbie Plagens is Baldwin Wallace's starting quarterback. The senior did not take a straight and narrow path to get to this point. After his high school career at Rocky River he went to Miami of Ohio as a preferred walk on. He was a third string quarterback his freshman year.
"That summer a week or two before camp they called me and said we don't really think we need you on the roster right now," Plagens recalled. "After that I took a year off of football. I re-evealuated what I wanted to do. Baldwin Wallace just seemed to be a great fit."
After serving as a backup last year, he finally has earned his chance as a starting quarterback.
"It means everything to me. It's everything I have worked for the past six or seven years," Plagens explained. "It seems like it is all going together this year and I couldn't be more excited about it this year."
