Black Friday Hike
Friday, November 25, 8:30 a.m. to noon, NPS Park Headquarters
Join a ranger for 7.5 miles on the hilly Buckeye and Valley trails, and avoid the crowds and congestion. For more information call 330-657-2752.

Hiking the Hills
Sunday, November 27, 9m a.m. to noon, Everett Covered Bridge
Hike 7 miles on the Perkins, Riding Run, and Furnace Run Connector trails.

Cleveland Metroparks

Hike The Mountain Bike Trail
Saturday, November 26, 2 to 4:30 p.m., Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation, CanalWay Center, 4524 East 49th St, Cuyahoga Hts, OH 44125
Historical Interpreter Doug Kusak leads a hike of the Mountain Bike Trail in Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation. We’ll see what’s out there on this rugged area of the park. Terrain Difficulty: dirt trail, rocks, large hills, various challenges. Free.

Register by phone or online beginning November 1 at 9 a.m.
Registration ends  November 26 at Noon

Ashland County Parks

The Ashland County Park District (ACPD) manages 16 unique parks comprising over 2,000 acres of beautiful forests, fields, lakes, and streams. All of this green-space is publically owned and open to the public 365 days a year for hiking, fishing, bird watching, biking, dog walking and other outdoor pursuits. Some seasonal hunting opportunities also are offered in a few select parks.

Bird Walk

Get Fit Club – Tai Chi

Family Fun Weekend

Lake Metroparks

Breakfast/Lunch with Santa
November 26,  to December 23, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Farmpark
Santa greets children in the café. After enjoying a delicious meal, visit and take a photo with Santa in the theater and then head to the toy workshop to build a wooden toy to take home. Professional photography and pony rides optional and available for additional charge. Participants are welcome to stay all day to enjoy all of Farmpark's regular activities. Ticket sales begin 8 a.m. Wednesday, October 26: online here for Lake County residents, and for
Farmpark members — please have your membership number and call 440-358-7275 to purchase tickets at a discount. Ticket prices: $15 ages 12+, $12 ages 2 through 11, $3 younger than 2 years; tickets required for every person that attends. Open ticket sales (for everyone, including out-of-county customers) begin 8 a.m. November 2. This is a family activity and children must be accompanied by registered adult(s). Due to space limitations, ALL participants including children younger than 2 years must be pre-registered.
