West Geauga High School senior Austin Maguire received Student Athlete of the Week honors. He maintains a 4.42 cumulative GPA. Including swimming, he participates in nine extracurricular activities.
"A lot of my success in the water has just been continuously improving and beating my own time," Austin explained
Austin credits his work ethic for his success in athletics and academics.
"The best lesson I have learned is not to motivate yourself by achievements but by things that you already have," he explained.
His future plans are to go to college where he will continue to explore his various interests.
