WILLOUGHBY HILLS, Ohio — Icy road conditions are causing issues for drivers Thursday morning.
I-90 eastbound is closed near Bishop Road because of icy conditions.
Willoughby Hills police say they're diverting traffic onto I-271 southbound while they wait for ODOT to salt the road.
With temperatures above freezing for the next several days, you can expect to hear the drip, drip, drip of melting snow. But this melting could bring another hazard to your travel day if you aren't careful: Ice!
Each night through the weekend, temperatures will drop below freezing. This will allow any snow melt of puddles on sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and roadways to refreeze just in time for your morning commute. Icy spots that may be difficult to see as you commute.
