GEAUGA COUNTY, Ohio — Geauga County State Route 44 between State Route 87 and East Washington Street has reopened to traffic after it closed due to a fire off the roadway, according to ODOT Cleveland.

Smoke could be seen from AirTracker 5 for several miles.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area.
