CLEVELAND — Powerful winds and thunderstorms Wednesday night caused damage to portions of Northeast Ohio, including the State Theater in Sandusky. On Wednesday, portions of Northeast Ohio were under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.

In Parma, entire streets lost power during the storms. A tree branch fell onto Wexford Avenue, just east of Broadview Road in Parma.
In Avon Lake, a McDonald's sign fell off its foundation and onto the ground.
Strong winds knocked down power lines and utility poles on Perkins Avenue in Sandusky.
