CLEVELAND — It's rare, but it happens. Thundersnow made an appearance on an Ohio Department of Transportation camera this morning.
This thundersnow appeared on an ODOT camera near Piqua, a town 27 miles north of Dayton.
Check it out! Rare but we've had it here in NE OH too. #Thundersnow! It's all about convection and lift. If there's enough upward motion you can get lightning during a snow storm. https://t.co/l4llyQObyi
