CLEVELAND — The first day of spring is Thursday and it sure will feel like it with temps climbing in the upper 60s. But you better enjoy it before a cold front brings a rude awakening.

Big headlines for the weather:

  • Heavy rain moves in tonight
  • Big warm-up on Thursday
  • Rainy and windy Friday

Wednesday
Rain showers arrive Wednesday afternoon with temps staying around the 50s. Rain showers will creep in and will become heavier at times, lasting through the evening. Most of the area can expect about 0.5 to an inch of rain.

Thursday
Temps rebound and will be much warmer in the afternoon, reaching near 52 degrees. Showers with a chance of thunderstorms are expected Thursday afternoon through Friday, with some storms even approaching severe levels. There's also a chance for minor flooding.

Friday
It’s our last chance at any nice weather before a cold front leads to a drop in temps around the 30s. Get outside on Friday because temps will linger around 68 degrees.
