CLEVELAND — A few storms remain offshore of Lake and Ashtabula counties mid-day Thursday, and there is small risk of a waterspout with that line, according to Remeisha Shade with the Power of 5 Weather Team.
A Beach Hazard advisory is in effect in Lake and Ashtabula counties until 5 p.m. Thursday; with a high risk of rip currents, swimmers are advised to stay out of the water.
A trough of relatively low atmospheric pressure will build this afternoon, bringing spotty showers and a few storms expected through tonight.

We are not in a severe storm risk area, but a few storms may still be strong with brief heavy rain, lightning and potentially some small pea-size hail, Shade said.
High temperatures will be near 60 Thursday and cooler over the next few days with highs in 50s.
