CLEVELAND — Areas of freezing rain remain possible across Northeast Ohio through mid-morning. The National Weather Service extended the Winter Weather Advisory until 10 a.m. Tuesday.
News 5 viewers report slick areas in Mayfield Heights and in Geauga County, just north of State Route 422.
A light glaze of ice may form on untreated surfaces. Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch are possible.

Temperatures in most spots should be a degree or 2 above freezing shortly after the sun comes up. Some untreated surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways, bridges, overpasses, parking lots could still have a few icy spots for the morning commute.
The storm system will bring warmer air to the region and gradually diminish the threat of freezing rain as the morning progresses.
As of 6:30 a.m., over two dozen schools are closed or delayed due to winter weather conditions.
