A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Geauga and Lake counties until 5 p.m. on Monday.
Winds up to 60 mph are possible, as is quarter-sized hail, according to the National Weather Service.
Around 4:30 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Willoughby and began moving northeast at 30 mph, the NWS said.
Areas impacted include Painesville, Willowick, Chardon, Fairport Harbor, Mentor, Willoughby, Eastlake, Madison, Perry, Timberlake, Lakeline, Willoughby Hills, Mentor-on-the-Lake, Kirtland, North Perry, Kirtland Hills, Waite Hill, Grand River and North Madison.
