Multiple rounds of storms are expected to move through Northeast Ohio on Saturday, bringing damaging wind gusts, heavy rain and lightning.

Power of 5 Meteorologist Trent Magill is live tracking Saturday's storms:

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the following counties:

  • Cuyahoga
  • Geauga
  • Summit
  • Portage
  • Lorain
  • Medina

Additionally, the following counties are under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 9 p.m.:

  • Lorain
  • Lake
  • Holmes

  • Medina
  • Huron
  • Portage
  • Erie
  • Cuyahoga
  • Richland
  • Geauga
  • Ashtabula
  • Summit

Heavy rain is the biggest concern, especially where storms will track repeatedly over the same areas, prompting localized flooding.

A Flood Watch has been issued for the following counties until 10 p.m.:

  • Cuyahoga
  • Lake
  • Geauga
  • Ashtabula
  • Summit
  • Portage
  • Stark
  • Erie

Storm timing looks focused on Saturday afternoon and evening, with a couple of possible waves of activity. There may be breaks in the rain, but don't let those fool you into thinking the threat is over.
