Residents across Northeast Ohio woke up Thursday morning to cars, roads and residential sidewalks completely covered in snow and slush.

The overnight storm system started late Wednesday and quickly picked up momentum in the early morning hours on Thursday.

The snowfall amounts from the National Weather Service continue to come in as crews salt and plow the streets.
