Storms are on the way, and we could see high wind, hail, continued flooding

CLEVELAND — We are at risk for severe thunderstorms developing ahead of an approaching cold front by late afternoon or evening, sliding through the viewing area from west to east, according to Power of 5 Chief Meteorologist Mark Johnson.

When
A few storms are possible anytime this afternoon, however, the strongest storms are expected to arrive between about 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight.

Where
All of Northern Ohio.

Impact
Damaging straight-line winds and large 1-inch diameter hail are the main threats. There is a 2 percent chance for a tornado.

Areas that have already been flooded will continue to see high water levels.
