If you step outside for even a few minutes, you'll be greeted with midges and lots of them.
On Wednesday night, the midges were seen retreating out over the lake on the radar, giving us hope that they will soon be gone and out of our lives.

While gross, midges do have a purpose as they are a sign of good health for Lake Erie. Midges are hatched from the lake when the water warms up in the spring. They provide food for fish and other aquatic life, according to the Lake County General Health District.
As visitors and fans flock to downtown for Game 3, it's likely the midges will follow.
I expect midges on the radar again tonight after 10pm and tomorrow morning around 5:30am.
