Residents in Michigan and Ohio spotted something quite amazing Tuesday night.
Lightning? No. A shooting star? Close, but not quite.

Several ODOT traffic cameras along the Great Lakes spotted a meteor painting a dark sky with a quick flash of a light. One traffic camera in Toledo caught the meteor flashing in the sky.
