CLEVELAND — As most of Northeast Ohio is under a Winter Weather Advisory until 3 p.m. Wednesday, snow will move through much of the area during the morning drive, making roads slick at times.
Allow extra time to get to from point A to point B until plows can fully treat the roads.
4 a.m. to 7 a.m.
Roadways are slick, especially untreated surfaces and side roads. Crashes are possible, along with a few school delays and closings, especially for rural counties between Mansfield, Canton and Youngstown.
The system will spread north into the Lakeshore areas by 7 a.m.
Roads
Around 5:30 a.m., snow started to cover parts of I-71 southbound near Route 30. Several ODOT trucks were spotted treating the roadways.
In a matter of an hour, roads and highways were covered with snow.
At 7:20 a.m., Route 303 closed at Route 94 in Hinckley because of a crash.

Late morning
By late morning/afternoon, snow will transition to scattered rain showers as temperatures warm up into the upper 30s and lower 40s—ending the impact.
