A Special Marine Warning has been issued for Northeast Ohio stretching from Avon Lake to Willowick, according to the National Weather Service.
The alert is in effect until 3 p.m.

Water spouts in the area can create dangerous conditions for boats. Anyone on the water should head back to safe harbor, NWS officials said.
