Not that many were probably planning on heading to the beach on Sunday with the clouds in the sky and rain in the forecast, but in case you were, a beach hazards statement should keep you away.
A high swimming risk from waves and dangerous currents has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a beach hazards statement in effect until late Sunday night for Lake Erie beaches in Cuyahoga, Erie and Lorain counties.
