CLEVELAND — Northeast Ohio got hit with its first snow of the season—causing a potential messy commute for some. Scattered lake effect rain and snow showers will lift north Friday morning.
Drivers should allow extra time to get from point A to B this morning. Rain, snow and a mix likely where squalls persist.

The Rest of the day
The good news is the lake effect snow doesn't last all day.
Sunshine will give us some much-needed relief this afternoon. However, temperatures will remain cool, barely reaching 40 degrees in most areas today.
