A Winter Weather Advisory has been put in place for Sunday night and Monday as Northeast Ohio is expected to get one to five inches of snow.
Snow will move in from the west Sunday night and then change to a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service. The wintry mix will change over to all snow Monday morning during peak commute times and continue through the afternoon. Be careful on the road as conditions will be slippery Monday morning through the afternoon.
With Cleveland, Akron and Canton as the dividing line, the area to the west has an advisory in place from midnight tonight until 1 p.m. Monday. Mixed precipitation is expected to fall, with a total of one to three inches of new snow and a light glaze of ice.
The regions to the east of Cleveland, Akron and Canton have an advisory in place from 4 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Monday, with an expected two to five inches of new snow on the way.
