ASHTABULA COUNTY, Ohio — A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Ashtabula, Geauga and Lake counties.
The watches will begin at 1 a.m. on Wednesday and end at 1 p.m.
Lake effect snow is expected in those counties, along with wind gusts up to 40 mph.
News 5 meteorologists say communities could get between 2-4 inches of snow likely with higher amounts possible where squalls persist, but residents that live further south in those counties could only see 1-3 inches.
Be prepared for slippery roads during Wednesday morning's commute. A combination of falling and blowing snow will lead to near-zero visibility at times during the morning.
Since we pushed this story, News 5 has updated it with a more recent forecast.
