A crash involving several vehicles landed a semi truck on its side and on fire on I-271 South at Richmond Road during the Monday afternoon commute.
Firefighters are on the scene, and it appears they have been able to extinguish the fire.
All southbound express lanes are closed and drivers are being told to exit at Chagrin Boulevard. There is one local lane of I-271 South open in the area. Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
The I-271 North express lanes are open.
