AKRON, Ohio — A 55-year-old man was robbed while walking near the intersection of East Dalton Avenue and Avon Street in Akron on Thursday afternoon, according to the Akron Police Department.
The man was approached by two men around 1 p.m. One of the men cut the victim on the hand with a knife while the other took $40 in cash from him, police said.
The victim was taken to Summa Health System – Akron Campus where he was treated for his injuries, according to police.
Police did not provide a detailed description of the suspects.
