SANDUSKY, Ohio — In honor of Cedar Point’s 150th anniversary, the world-famous amusement park is offering a new “Gold Pass” for the rest of the 2019 season and the entire 2020 season.
The special ticket provides unlimited visits to Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores Water Park for during next year’s season and the remainder of the 2019 season, including HalloWeekends.
Those with the Gold Pass will also receive free parking, discounts on food and merchandise, and exclusive ride times. Gold Pass holders have the opportunity to gain “Golden Entry” access, granting them access to the rides 30 minutes before the park opens.
Cedar Point’s Gold Pass is on sale now for $99.
Next year will mark the 150th anniversary of the park, which opened in 1870.
What began as a ferried trip for guests to enjoy a bathhouse, beer garden and beach has since expanded to what is now referred to by many as the "Roller Coaster Capital of the World."
