Skip lounging around at home and put on your shoes to discover something new happening in Northeast Ohio. It's one of the last weekends of summer and the weather will reflect it. From food tastings to creative expression by way of chalk, there are events to enjoy all weekend-long.
Whether you're a kid or an adult, getting creative with chalk is always fun. Started in 1990, the festival is a modern take on the Renaissance tradition when beggars copied paintings and used chalk to recreate them on the outside of cathedrals. The community can join professional artists to decorate the walkways around the museum.
