You just never know what's going to happen at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
On Saturday, that meant a surprise visit from John Mellencamp.

Visitors told News 5 the Grammy award winning artist put on an impromptu concert, just walking on stage and singing 7 or 8 songs.

The Rock Hall didn't actually introduce him, but fans knew who it was right away.
Mellencamp was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.
